Latvia
Perhaps Latvia is unobtrusive compared to other popular destinations, That being said, a number of hidden gems could be found throughout the country, particularly the Art Nouveau architecture and some Medieval towns that are rich in culture. The Republic was founded in 1918, but was then invaded by the Nazi Germany and occupied by the Soviet Union during the World War II. Its dependency was restored again in 1991, not a long time from now. The Old Town in Riga, the capital of Riga, provides lots of inspirations for photography - from enticing cobblestone streets to Art Nouveau architecture.
